2. The information we collect
2.1 Information you give us
- Account & order details — name, billing & shipping address, email, phone number (optional), and the products you order, when you place an order or create an account.
- Payment details — handled by our payment processor (see Section 4). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
- Marketing preferences — your email address and consent status when you subscribe to the 33 Games mailing list.
- Correspondence — anything you send to us via email, contact form, or social channels.
2.2 Information we collect automatically
- Technical & usage data — IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, pages visited, referring URL, and time of visit. We use this to keep the site running, debug problems, and prevent abuse.

3. How we use your information
We process your personal data on the following lawful bases:
- Performance of a contract — to take and fulfil your orders, process payments, ship goods, handle returns and refunds, and respond to support requests.
- Legitimate interests — to run and improve the website, prevent fraud, keep our records, and (where appropriate) contact existing customers about similar products. You can object to processing on this basis at any time.
- Consent — to send you marketing emails about new releases and announcements. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email.
- Legal obligation — to keep records required by tax, accounting and consumer protection law.
4. Who we share your information with
We share your personal data only with trusted service providers that help us run the business. Each provider is contractually required to handle your data securely and only for the purpose we engage them.
- Payment processing — Worldpay (offsite card payments) and Stripe (onsite card payments and wallets including Apple Pay and Google Pay). Both handle card data directly; we never see your full card number.
- Buy now, pay later — Klarna, offered via Stripe at checkout for eligible orders. Klarna is a separate data controller for the credit decision; their privacy notice is at klarna.com/uk/privacy.
- Email marketing — Brevo (Sendinblue SAS) hosts our mailing list and sends marketing & transactional emails.
- Hosting & CDN — our website is hosted on UK/EU infrastructure and served via BunnyCDN for asset delivery.
- Shipping carriers — we share name, delivery address and contact details with the courier carrying your order.
- Professional advisers — accountants, auditors, lawyers and insurers where appropriate.
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.
5. International transfers
Some of our service providers (e.g. Brevo, Stripe, Klarna) are based in the EU/EEA, US or other jurisdictions. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK, we rely on either an adequacy decision or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum (or its equivalent) with appropriate safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
- Order records — kept for a minimum of 7 years to meet UK tax, accounting and consumer protection requirements.
- Account data — kept while your account is active. You can ask us to close your account at any time.
- Mailing-list data — kept while you remain subscribed; removed promptly on unsubscribe.
- Server logs — typically rotated within 30 days, longer where needed for security investigations.
7. Cookies
We use a small number of cookies to keep the site working and to remember your preferences:
- Strictly necessary cookies — required for the cart, checkout, login session and CSRF protection. These cannot be switched off.
- Functional cookies — remember choices like the holding-page preview token during pre-launch.
We do not currently use third-party analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. If that changes we will update this policy and seek your consent where required.
8. Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Erase your personal data in certain circumstances (the “right to be forgotten”).
- Restrict our processing in certain circumstances.
- Object to processing carried out on the basis of legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time.
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format.
- Withdraw consent at any time for processing based on consent.
